???????? Never beg for a seat when you can build your own table… I so feel this. I remember literally begging a weight loss TV show to accept me as a contestant. They REJECTED me saying I wasn’t a good fit. ????????♀️ Who knows why… However, what I do know is that painful moment of rejection pushed me to help myself.
That day sparked ⚡️ a fire ???? in me that pushed me to re-enroll back in college— as a mother of three small children at the time — and educate myself on holistic nutrition, specifically related to metabolic hormones for women. I graduated several years later top in my class with a 4.0 GPA and over 134 pounds lighter! ????????
Never let one closed door stop you.
A past failure does not mean you will fail in the future.
Just because you’re not a right fit for one opportunity, doesn’t mean more amazing opportunities are not in your future.
Keep going. Look for different opportunities. Don’t sweat it when people reject you or leave you out.
Keep striving. And, above all, hold your beautiful head high and keep moving towards your dreams and goals.
Today, I am a Board Certified Master Nutritionist and a top 10 bariatric Nutritionist in America because I was REJECTED by the Biggest Loser TV SHOW a little over 10 years ago. Thank you to The Biggest Loser for rejecting me. It was the greatest lesson in my life.
